sorry to correct you, but Quote: The -R MIT's are probably MXL RG03...
is NOT true...that is the media ID coding for the MADE IN JAPAN ones...made by Hitachi, sold under the Maxell brand from the 8x DVD-R MIJ spindles~ :)
the +R MIT are RitekR03s, and the -R MIT's are the RitekG05s :)

Verbs on sale at Bestbuy? $7.99 per 25 pack of 16x discs? I didn't know that when I picked up my two 20 packs of Verb +R DL discs today. I'll run back tomorrow & clean out 2 stores that I know of & maybe a third. Oh man, $31.96 (before tax) per 100 discs? Thats almost as good (price wise) as the Sony 8x 100 packs I got last month from Best Buy...
I normally get the -R but at this price I may grab the +R's too! These stores have it available in the Katy, Galleria, Greenspiont & Sharpstown (Houston) areas. Pasadena, Pearland & Baytown do too as well as the Almeda mall store in Houston.
Lets see, about 200 discs (eight 25 packs) will do for me. Anybody else in the Houston TX area grab what you can! Go to the website, find the + or - R discs then search for available stores by zip code. Either that or get it online.

Oh I was excited about the price alright! So much so that I bought 16 packs (400 discs) from 5 stores. Have about 120 of the Sony 8X -R's to go through first then I'll start on the 16X Verbs. The only problem with the Verbs is you can't print on them like you can the top & bottom halves of the Sony's so I'll have to use my Sharpie on them. Other than that they work great at 16x (I test burned one at that speed then checked it with Plextools) but I'll burn the rest at 8X for data & 4X for video like I do with the Sony's...

ha - not a problem man. What do you need 400 disks for right now? I know they are cheap and verbs are high quality, but how long will it take you to go trough all of those disks?

I'm converting my CD's to DVD format to save storage space. It's mp3's of old time radio, pictures I wish to keep plus southern gospel music in mp3 format. The classical is in both mp3 & flac formats. Got a lot of burning to do so thats why I bought those 400 DVD's. Should last me 2 or 3 months I suppose....
No I am not selling bootleg CD's on Ebay!
