in WMP it tells me certain files cannot be opened because of the codec or how it was compressed. where is the best place to download all the codecs and things you need also how do you see what codecs a file needs i have heard you right click on WMP but i dont understand what im doing

Intervideo works with WMP, its also a program that plays dvd movies.


Download Microsoft Windows XP Video Decoder Checkup Utility at www.microsoft.com to see what coder works with it.

So far sonic and Intervideo works with it.


Put your mouse pointer over the file and it tells you what type of file it is. sometimes you can not tell what type it is.
