Hi, can anyone help? I use Nerovision to convert avi files to DVD formant but when I do I seem to lose a lot of audio volume. Does anyone know why and how it can be fixed? Thanks.

No it works fine. It seems to do it faster than nerovision too. Excellent work, you're a gem.

you might find that this program is getting a bit dated and if you come across it saying it cant decode a dvd then you will need to get the paid version as that is the only won that is getting updates regularly. Its also being renamed convert X to dvd

After converting a few avi's to DVD I still find that I have a drop in the audio volume, what could I be doing wrong to cause this as I have followed the instructions to do it?

This is caused by the process where encoding prog's have to Demux the stream, meaning they remove the audio before encoding, and usually the altered video takes presidence when remuxing.

you can make sure you are selecting the optimum audio type for your system AC3, DTS etc and whether you have stereo 5 or 6 speaker surround.

but for now imo your best bud is the volume button. don't give up though do some serious reading and let us know if you find anything.

I think NeroVision works great, but the audio/video quality is not that good. I tried a different encoder, and noticed a difference in the quality. I used TMPGEnc and IFOEdit. The video/audio quality was great. It just takes a little longer to encode. I am going to try the DivX to DVD converter to see how well it works. I'm looking for something that is plain and simple, but still produces good video/audio quality.
