hi i was just wondering if 1 of u might know if there's a possibility
of seeing the movie in the preview window with subtitles.

I don't think so, but I have been wrong before. What do you need to preview the subtitles for?

since i don't have yet a dvd player on my new computer and no cable connection i thought i would be able to watch a movie in dvd shrink with subtitles but i don't know how to make them work ...

any suggestions?

I don't think you can. You can select the audio by right clicking on the screen, but that's not what you needed to know. YOu should have Media player by default and you can always download WinAmp for free, which isn't that big so cable isn't really necesary.
