I could really use some help with several movies but first could someone tell me how to encode the Punisher. I have shrink 3.2 the newest fab decrypter and vobblanker, but once im done with vob and fab shrink wont open up the punisher. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nothing special on the punisher...what is the error message you are getting word for word?

It's been a while but, I think I backed this movie up with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink by their lonesome.

The error message shrink gives is programming error exception occured, the parameter is incorrect.

shrink says the same thing with Broken Flowers also.

Rip to HDD with DVD Decrypter in File mode, make sure you select all files. Then open files in DVD Shrink.

you want me to use DVD Decrypter or dvd fab decrypter. if it is DVD Decrypter then i must be doing something wrong.

DVD Decrypter should be able to work through these movies, make sure you are using it in File mode and have selected all files. VobBlanker really isn't needed for the Punisher unless you are using it to cut out the adverts and FBI warnings, not sure about Broken Flowers. I don't think there was anything too tricky on that one either. If you have AnyDVD or DVD43 running on your puter you should disable them.

i used decrypter and when i opened with shrink it got through the analysis and then when it started to encode shrink just disappeared/closed itself and nothing was running. i used decrypter and encoded all 26 or 29 files. Then do i just open up shrink and click on open files, then click on video_ts under punisher?

Yup...Should be a simple task unless something went wrong with the rip, i.e. scratched or dirty source disc with read errors.

it doesn't work. I decrypted it twice with 0 read errors and shrink still either showed parameter is incorrect or shrink shut down altogether after 1 and 2 percent.

Insert still image into unreferenced materials or backup the movie only using Reauthor mode.

Click on the Reauthor Icon at the top of the DVD Shrink screen, move down the right window to the main movie and drag and drop it or double click it to the left side...open the compression tab and remove all audio except AC3 5.1 and any subtitles you don't want...click backup. Then burn with your favorite burn engine.

Edit: Here is a guide for future reference...I guess it would have been easier to link you to it earlier. LOL
