Hey everyone, well I have the infamous swap magic v3.6 discs. The problem I am having is that my PS2 will recognize the dvd rom booting disc, then go to the browser. I've used the discs successfully before, but now its no use. Unless someone knows how to solve the problem, could someone just refer me to a site to buy a darn replacement. I've read through some threads saying $15 off of divineo.com, but i looked throughout the site and couldn't find it. If you could paste the url I would be very grateful Thanks!

I'm not too sure about divineo, but you can get it at IHackPS2 for $20.

By the way, are your current discs still pretty new or have you had them for a while? If they're still pretty new, you should contact the company that you got it from and get a replacement.

I got them just before Christmas, so December 24, 2005, I tried e-mailing swap magic but had no luck. I've been considering getting the disc polished but I really dont think thats the problem, who knows

I've had your problem. I cleaned, and adjusted the lens afterwards it didn't show up again.

Hi, I just received my new 3.6 discs today and neither work. My old (very old) V2.0 work fine. I noticed that my discs say "Magic 3 plus" and not "Swapmagic 3 plus". I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I contacted the seller for a replacement or refund. We'll see how that goes. P.S. The fliptop cover I bought with the discs is great - sure beats the slide card and is pretty simple to install.

Onalot, thanks for the suggestion, I might also try that, I just dont want to mess up my PS2, for ute,you might have not bought the actual swapmagic discs. Do they fail to load or is it just that the loading is confusing, because I know it was for me. Plus, could you please put the url of the site you got the fliptop for the old style ps2 I have Version 1 and only run into slim cases

My discs don't load at all. I bought my fliptop lid, the 3.6 discs as well as my old magicswap 2.0 from www.consolesource.com
They are Canadian. I paid 32.99 for the new set (shipping was only 6.00 and arrived in 3 days). I'm still waiting for a reply from them regarding the bad discs though. I'll let you know what happens.
