Ok, Yes this is my first time burning (completly stupid to it) but every time I try to burning a dvd project through nero I get sorry your compilation cannot be written on this type of disc. Please insert a disc ot the correct type or modify the settings of your complitation to make them compatable with current disc. I don't know how to modify the setting. I have tried dvd-r,dvd+r,and dvd+rw. sorry if this is a really dumb question but it's making me crazy.I would greatly appreciate any help. thanks

You'll need to post your Nero log for examination before a possible solution can be found.

I think you may have a more basic problem, such as your recorder. What type of a DVD recorder are you using? Also, are you sure that you're selecting the recorder when you go to write. Most of the newer DVD recorder could care less whether you're using a +R or -R.

According to this you dont have a DVD burner, looks like it only burns CDs.
Have you ever burned a DVD?

You have Roxio installed, Nero conflicts with it so I would uninstall Roxio
