I just bought a 2gb MC, formatted it, and followed all instructions on how to get video files on the psp. I am very familiar with dycrypter, so i made an ifo file, sent it through both psp video 9, and 3gp converter. The file turns into M4V10004.MP4. I've tryed changing it to M4V20004, and M4V00001, and a half dozen other names. For some reason, the same error message keeps coming up when i click the send to psp button on video 9. The error message reads..."cannot copy M4V10004: cannot find the specified file, make sure you specify the correct path and file name." Then when i exit out of the usb mode, and check in the video section, it shows that space has been taken out of the memory card, and the name of the movie. So i click on the movie, it plays for 2 seconds, and then says "corrupt file." What is going on? Please help. I have psp version 2.5, and a brand new memory card 2gb, that came with the folders "MP_ROOT," and "100MNV01" already on it. Please help!!!

Yes IFO, the file that gets sent through video 9 from DVD Decrypter. I got to IFO mode, enable steam processing, and all that shit, and it makes an IFO file that gets sent through Video 9 for transcoding, correct?

No its not an ifo its a VOB file u want to put through PSPvideo9, i know its ifo mode on decrypter, it gives u a VOB and IFO file along with a text file when its finished, its the VOB file u put through PSPvideo9. If u want there is a full guide available at ravenlife.

I checked out your sig at ravenlife, awsome info, and tut., but i'm still having a problem. believe me it's not me. I have been doing all kinds of modding to my xbox, pc, etc., but somehow just can't figure out this stupid little psp. I can get pictures over fine, by just dragging them over and putting them in the photo file. For some reason though, an error message keeps coming up on my PC when i try to put the trancoded mp4 file into the MP_root and the other folder inside the mp_root folder. Please help!!!

Get dvd decrypter (or if you cant find it) get dvd fab devrypter
Rip in IFO mode (remember to change splitting to "none")
After you should get some VOB files, the movie is the biggest file.
Now go to video9 and choose your profile keeping in mind
1.5 firmware SP only
2.0 up AVC & SP
Now one click transcode, then use video9 to copy it over to your psp.

Ive never used DVD fab but i just tried it and your right, i cant find anywhere to change the splitting,
So you get alot of VOBs? if so, download DVD Decrypter it should be easy to find, if you cant then PM your email to me. Im sure it has splitting options and rips in ISO or IFO or FILE mode.
Sometimes to keep things peaceful you need a Piece thats Full
