i'm running 2.01 also and i'd like to play homebrew so can i just downgrade straight to 1.50 or do i have to go to 2.71 first?

2.71 is downgradable without using an exploit via UMD.
Upgrade to this then downgrade to 1.50.

Its not as safe as the 2.50/60 or 2.71 downgraders.
