Hi,
for some reason my PSP (2.60) after a mp3 song is played it changes to Corrupted Data and wont display the title anymore only if I get out from music and click on something else (photo, games etc...) and then back to music the title will show up again.
any ideas?

Dont ave that at all...Try formatting your memory card and reloading ur mp3. What software r u using to convert?

I'll format the card, I just copied some mp3 that I downloaded few days ago, didnt create the mp3 myself.

i've never heard of that happeneing, that doesnt happen on my 1.5 psp. but i'd try wat sudds sed, and I would reformat and retransfer. Do you have the mp3s directly in the music folder or do you have them split up into folders(curious)

try splitting them up into folders..
create some folders within the music folder and place them to your liking i e by category,artist blah blah and see if it still does that..
no subfolders, as they wont be recognized..
meaning other than the folders you make directly in the music folder dont create any other subfolders deeper from that point..
anywho jus try that and see if that stops it from happening..
cause as long as you have group mode turned off it will still play all the songs

Joeva just a thought here about his mp3,s he has downloaded off the net, could there be traces of a foreign program within the mp3?
Maybe the psp see,s it as bad data....

Try ripping a tune from your cd,s, and see if it gives u the corrupted data.

Try what i said above about ripping ur own mp3, and loading it on, be wary where u get ur mp3,s from the net, they can contain small bugs, adware and the like.

back again, tried everything and still have the same problem :(
I just got a new memory stick (2gb) and still having same problem.

this is a firmware/psp problem get in touch withsony tell them whats going on.
i doubt they will know either *stupid sales ppl*
they may replace it but they'll probably say take it back to where ever you got it from
