ok u patched the game and everything right no error messages wat so eva.
it's really simple open Nero burning rom and wat eva version u have then all u do is close that big pop-up screen(NEW COMPILATION) and in the top left hand corner next to FIle,View and Edit u will see Recorder highlight that and u will see a view options. make sure the disc is in the writer for buring and go to "Burn Image" in the list of options. now Go through ur hard drive and find the patched FIFA Street 2 ISO And select it and burn it wiv half disc speed I.e 8x u burn it at 4x
easy works for me and hopefully for u just make sure u got good quality disc like "taiyo yuden" or sony

ok so i got the patch and i applied it and it said magic fix succsessful
then i went to Nero burnt my image at 4x (from 8x) and the n went to my pc and loaded up swap magic 3.6.
then i loaded the game and went to rule the street and still NO LUCK!!!!!!! it gets stuck at the last loading guy it just wont MOVE!!! help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i also tried challenge mode now with no luck at all gets stuck just like rule the street

well all i can say is no one wants to help other than me totalwar5 i really wish i could help u but i absouletey gave every single knowledge i have in make FIFA Street 2 to work to be quite honest it's the hardest i encountered

hey guys and gurls...umm i just wanted 2 no like i got the fifa street 2 PAL version and do i have to use the patch stated earlier in the forum even though i dont have swap magic .. i just got some chip in my ps2 and yeh so do i just burn it and try and play it ? please can someone help coz i aint very good at all this technical stuff i just love playing the games like all of us :)
any help will b appreciated.. thanks :D

u still have to apply the patch reason being tht FIFA Street 2 The LBA is blocked so the patch helps tht to unblock it to be able to play it on Swap magic or modchip good one like DMESPRO4 or matrix infinty somefin like tht
yer so apply patch and makes sure u ave good quality discs
like sony,maxcell,taiyo yden,verbatim etc do not use cheap brands as this will result in a malfunctional laser and it wont read orignal PS2 discs so watch out!!!

Thanks man... it works!!!! perfectly.. the only thing is like sometimes it gets stuck for like 5 seconds and i can hear the dvd in the ps2 like making noises ahaha but its all good coz it dont get permanently stuck.. i burnt it on 2 a sony dvd on 4x speeed.

No worries bout tht thing wiv ur laser it might be tht a bit of dust trapped in the ps2 laser so i would recommend using Cotten Buds (ear cleaner) and a bit of nail varnish remover. and just apply and let it dry it should be a lot smoother.

Hey all
I couldn't be bothered to read everything in this thread so im gonna just put how i backed-up my fifa street 2.
I made an MDS image using alcohol 120%
I downloaded and opened the patch, and clicked Readme, then Browse and then i selected all files and went to the directory my image was in.
I then clicked Open, and pal patch.
I burned the image
It works like a charm.
So if people think it can only work with ISOs your wrong! And again, sorry if this has been repeated before because i cant be arsed to go through every page in this thread.
-UPDATE- When you play Rule The Street and you progress to EA Classico tournament, it gets stuck while loading!

greets, I got it to work just fine, but of course the Rule the Street mode won't load, and also I noticed problems with the created players. For me the game will freeze if a created player is selected for the team, or even an unlocked legend i.e. Hagi. Friendly works fine, so does skills challenge but i am not too content with that. I applied the 1.1 patch and burnt on verbatim disks at low speeds. i was thinking that maybe my TOC disc just isn't large enough and the game disc just won't load during the load screens because of it. Any ideas on how to fix this would be great.

i know this is old subject, but if you have an iso that has been patched to work with hd loader, does that mean that it will also work with swap magic 3.6?
i was under the impression that a patch is a patch no matter what...but for some reason i backed up the game above and it doesn't work with my swap magic 3.6.
if i am wrong about the statement above, how would i unpatch the hd loader patch off this iso and patch it to work with swap magic 3.6?
i thank you for all the info...

ok im using a modchip (no idea which one tho), BUT.... the usual problem, when i reach EA CLASSICO it gets stuck!
-EDIT- OK haven't sorted out the problem physically (by eliminating it) but i can bypass the problem...
When it says you are invited to join EA Classico, just say NO! and get on with the other tournaments; after a while you will "be good enough to captain your own team" (our something like that)! Simple! Obviously if you WANT to play EA Classico then this aint for you brotha

hi can someone plaese help me!!!
i downloaded fifa street 2 for ps2 PAL and used the patch then burn't it with DVD Deycrpter (x2 speed) then used swap magic 3.6 BUT when i swapped it the laser or something else started making a weird nosie i also burn't it with Nero 7 the same thing happened. i have a slimline ps2 plaese can someone tell me what is happening (all my other ps2 copies work)

ok i've edited my post already but just for the sake of those people who just look at the new posts.......
HOW TO BYPASS THE "EA CLASSICO" FROZEN LOADING SCREEN:
Don't play it.
Simply decline the offer when you ARE offered a place in the tournament and carry on with the other tournaments (just keep pressing right, and more stuff comes up) and soon you will become team captain.

OK so far there hasn't been any problems except that along with EA Classico there are some other tournaments that get stuck in the same way. don't play them is the easiest plan.
sometimes you may be short of skill bills and u dont have enough to continue a tournament which requires a certain amount, then you shud go back and instead of rule the street choose skills challenge which shud give you extra skill bills. I don't know for sure because i just figured it out and i can't play until FRIDAY!!! (unlike a lot of you, im not an adult) so stay tuned, or whatever, and wait until friday for the ultimate answer (i would suggest not to stay online continously until friday, because sleep is important, you know, but not as important as games)
