why am i leaving this message here , well i'll tell ya why
it takes hours updon hours for me to do anything with my laptop and a usb dvd recorder , So i wanted to say this
the laptop is a Dell inspiron 1100 running windows xp pro with now A 100 GIG DRIVE 512 MEGS AND ITS A 2.4 MHZ Machine WITH A liteon dvd burner via Netstar2 external usb enclosure , IT TAKES FOR EVER TO DO ANYTHING And i mean anything , i mean hours upon hours And i have looked at every thing that was posted in all my threads and Man trust me if it wasent for afterdawn i would have chucked this laptop out the window, Well i still have the laptop and it runs a hell of alot better than before , thanks to everyone's messages and reply's
But now it gets funny ,I HAVE ALL THE PROGRAMS AND THE BURNER WITH DECRYPT AND SHRINK RUNNING ON A IBM 300 566 MHZ WITH 256 MEGS AND A 20 GIG DRIVE WITH ATI GRAPHICS ,and the same usb liteon set up with windows 2000 AND IT RUNS 10 TIMES FASTER THAN A DELL LAPTOP WITH 4 TIMES THE SPEED ...... insane if you are goin to run any of the programs afterdawn has to offer , well ya better get yourself a freagin IBM LAPTOP OR A DESKTOP...
i want to thank all whom had helped me out getting the freagin stupid dell laptop running , so i have applied all the facts and the system settings everyone suggested on my Ibm desk top and i already burnt 3 of my personal movies for playing in my truck for my son in less than 5 hours .............. now with that dam dell it would have taken 5 hours just to get through 20% of decrypting and then another 4 hours to backup and burn so im looking into getting a Ibm t 40 laptop now ......and ill burn the dell the next time i make a fire on the yard with wood ,
