I have dvd shrink and dvd decryptor. I use dvd decryptor to decrypt the movies then I use shrink to burn them. Once shrink finishes encoding the movie you have the option to watch the movie in its preview pane in the bottom left corner of the program. I cannot do this and when I record a movie it wont play. I think it may have something to do with the fact that I cannot even preview the movie and that is why my discs are not playing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you preview it prior to encoding?

When I reauthor I drag the title to the left above the preview pane and then am able to preview it before I analyze and encode it. I have never previewed it after encoding it.

There is an excellent guide in my signature by bbmayo regarding dvddecrypter and dvdshrink. See if you are using the same process as the guide.

Using the process listed, I have never had an issue with my backups.

When I go to open files and select the file I want opened shrink analysis it and then the screen comes up with all the data concerning the movie (menu, main movie,extras). While it is analyzing the movie I enabled video preview and the movie is actually there. But once it is finish analysing the movie that is when it will not allow me to preview it. Not after encoding. Sorry for the misinformation.
