I too have had nothing but problems with this dvd. I exchanged what I thought was a faulty disc for a new one and still have the same problem.

No matter what program I use it just stops half way through. I have tried; anydvd/dvdshrink, anydvd/cloneDVD2, DVDfab, DVD Decrypter, and it even starts to freeze up in the same spot on my sony NC675p player.

Any one have any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

You sure the programs are the latest versions? Because I get new releases every week, just like you guys, and I rarely have issues with AnyDVD running, Shrink to compress and Decryptor to burn. And make sure your drive is updated with the latest firmware!

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

I back up P&P (movie only) yesterday using DVDfab Decrypter 2.9.6.8, Shrink and burning with DVD Decrypter. These 3 programs only and AnyDVD and DVD43 MUST be turned off.

If you are still having problems go to the Control Panel and remove all versions of DVDfab. I've heard that if you had an older version of DVDfab (pre 2.9.6.8) and did not remove that version prior to installing 2.9.6.8 or later versions, then DVDfab will not work. Then reinstall DVDfab.

Good luck.

@ceccam

Call me cheap, but I'm not paying for AnyDVd or any other software until I have to. So far DVDfab Decrypter 2.9.6.8, Shrink, and DVD Decrypter are all I need for backups. I've had problems using VobBlanker so I avoid it altogether.

Glad it work out for you.
