hey, im using DVD Decrytor to DVD Shrink to backup my DVDs. i understand that least compression is ideal so with dvd decyrt it takes away all your extras, menus, root folders, previews etc. My question is which files are what, for ex. i would like to keep the main menu, and chapters. And does it include dolby sound or is there a special Vob or Ifo file for that? hope this is enough info, thanx.

If you want to keep the menus, chapter selection you'll need to do a full rip with DVD Decrypter than you can remove the unnecessary stuff shrink with full disc. Check out the guide:
