anyone know the trick to running this thing? trying to see the "quality" of these fake ass taiyo yuden dvd's from newegg (btw nice to know that the egg sells counterfeit merchandise) and i get this error on 4 different dvd-roms

Sony drives do not support cddvdspeed disc quality function it has nothing to do with your discs.
