just modded/w dms4 pro,,,black screen of death

i just did the dms4pro mod install and when i cut it on alls i get is black screen and it doesnt sound like the disc is spinning. can someone point me in the right direction to solve problem?

k i held down the little lid latch and cut it on the disc spins like 3 times then the laser pulse'ates in one spot for a second then spins like 3 times that is with the flash disc i created with Alcohol 120,, now when i put in a reg ps2 disc it boots, a screen comes up with a message saying to insert a ps2 or a ps2 format disc.
