Over the past couple of days, I've been loading backups in my computer and they are not reading. Real DVD's are working fine. Is there any program that I could use to help my computer. It isn't just my DVD-ROM, but it is also my DVD-RW drive that I used to burn it. Im clueless, and if anyone has info. Please tell me.

I've seen this happen when cheap/poor quality media was used to make the backups with, combined with a write speed that was too fast. I think you may be SOL as far as those backups are concerned, when cheap media is used, you just don't know how long those backups are going to last.

the media plays on dvd players and ps2's but not on the computer. The only media that reads in my computer is Sony
