Hello mates. i am going to start burning all my divx s to 9 gb dvds. but i am new to dvd stuff. so i want to learn which medias should i use? princo, dms, sonny, philips, verbatim? which one has the best price/performance ratio?

For DL media: I only purchase Verbatim +DL media. This is some of the best DL media in the world,maybe even #1. Two bucks apiece when on sale at local stores like bestbuy/office max/office depot/etc. These discs are made in singapore,still the best!

When it comes to backing up DL backups,watch what programs you use.Nero6 has trouble with the layer break. Check out DVD Decrypter. It has a couple different modes. For dual layer backups at a 1:1 copy,use Mode ISO read to hard drive.Mode ISO write/locate that mds file/open/and click burn. It's a very simple process,1 program usually,for most DL backups.
