er i'm not really sure how to check...

dvd santa is version 4 full version , build 60001

vso says ...

divxtodvd.exe 1.99.20.60
vso.hwe.dll 2.0.9.245
avcodec.dll 0.5.1.4743
avformat.dll 0.5.0.4621

and i have Nero 7 ultra edition.

i'm wondering if my computer doesn't have the correct codec as it seems to go wrong and out of synch with all these programs.

which bit dont you get!!!!!

how hard is it for you to download avicodec, and then load your file into it and post the results of the scan.(are you on dialup or broadband)

Atleast then we will know the properties of your file and see if thats the issue when you convert.

get it here:

http://avicodec.duby.info/

install it and then locate where your initial file is and run it through. It will give you some file properties which i require you to copy and paste into your next post

THE QUALITY ISNT THE BEST BUT ITS NOT THE WORST I'VE SEEN.

i think you need to try and re download it from another source as this may be corrupt, what speed do you burn at ?

divxtodvd.exe 1.99.20.60
you may want to upgrade to the latest version

Hi there,

As suggested earlier, I would update to the latest VSO ConvertXtoDVD v2.0

DivxToDVD is no longer supported, and there's been tons of fixes since v1.99.24 including "Out Of Sync" issues !

I was told by CCE encoder users that the new v2.00 has extreme nice quality, compared to v1.99 !
