I have burned many DVDs and never nad a problem until now. I have recently burned 2 DVDs that do this, Flight Plan and Valiant. They burned just fine, but when put in the DVD player, they won't automatically start playing. I have to skip forward to the next chapter, and then rewind it to the first and start playing it like that. Has anyone here ever had a problem like this? And I really don't think its the software (Nero), burner or media, because I have burned other DVDs since then and they work fine. I have tried burning both of these 2 DVDs about four times each, and every time it does the exact same thing.
Thank you for your input!

@stilsdog
Both of these movies have the newer copy protection on, a bunch of junk files, invalid structure etc. So it's sounds like the way you backed them up may be the problem. What progs did you use?
Here's a guide for The fog and how to do it by alkohol - this is also good for Flight Plan and Valiant.

I have it so that it first goes through DVD43 first and then I use DVD Shrink. I will give this a try. Thanks

Use CloneDVD to produce your image file. Be sure you are running AnyDVD. Use Nero or CloneDVD to write your image file. Burn at 4x and that should take care of it. Hope thid helps!
