What will happen if i connect my ps to my pc using a USB cable?
could i retrieve the ps2 BIOS? or could i change ps2 settings like update the ps2 drivers?

well let's use some common sense for just a few seconds,

the PS2 has it's own power for running passive components attached to its USB port...

your PC provides it's own power for passive components connected to it's USB port as well....

now you want to connect two separate ACTIVE units to the same cable............

not so sure if i understand by what you mean...
i have tried conecting the ps2 and pc together via USB.
..nothing happens..
Do i need to get a plugin for the ps2?

if you've connected the two together directly, you've severely stressed the drive power by essentially shorting them across another power supply, you may have even taken out the power supply that drives the USB port. the only safe way to connect two powered units is via a USB root hub (such as used to share a printer between multiple computers, but even then your limited to the inter communication of the two drive units.)

ok i understand now..
But if i were to use the printer serial cable, would i be able to extract the BIOS or manipulate the ps2 in anyway?

if you want to hook the PS2 to your PC use a Cat5 cable, not a USB.
