How can I share a file with my other pc? I'll just drag it into the sharing folder right?

Yea basically just creat a shared folder or just put everything u want to share across the network in the folder and it should b accessible from the other pc.

U can not make sharring changes to the propperties of the file, only the folder its within.

The other thing is that u can not share the program files folder it does not work...

Yes. I did that. Just dragged a file into the sharing folder. (My Computer->Shared Documents->Sharings) But it doesn't work. I'm not Bill Gates so please help me would you?

In order to share files, you need to right click the folder they are in, click on Sharing and Security. Then, make sure these boxes are checked:



Also, you need to make sure the Windows Firewall is off on both computers...or if you're using a different firewall, that you allow the network to share files.
