Okay this was my first try burning a dvd.I used dvd shrink with my dvd/cd rw drive. And Nero said it burned to the dvd+rw disk, but it wont play in my computer or on my dvd player.
I did a full burn on shrink, saved to TS video folder.Put them in a TS folder when i burned to nero. Nero Express, that came with my dvd/cd rw drive said it burned to the disk. But it wont play.Local guys at the computer store said that encyption is to good and thats keeping it from burning. Is that it?Or is it something im doing wrong?Plese help.
It could be the media you used, speed you burned at, etc.
If its on your hard drive, if your Nero completed burn, its something on the disc, not the encryption because the process would have stopped before Nero finalized.
I don't think this is a shrink problem, likely a burn problem. I suggest copying your Nero log, edit the serial # out (usually about the first line of your log, It might be somewhere in the middle too)
and post it in the Nero questions forum here at Afterdawn.
Need more info to go on, like what movie you're trying to rip and burn? What are you computer specs (i.e. processor and ram)? What kind of media did you used to burn? How fast did you burned? What version is your Nero? What is the brand/model of your burner? Does it have the current firmware? Did you have Nero checked under "simulation mode"? There can be a few things that involved for your burning result, that's why it won't play.
Just so you know, DVD Shrink don't burn, it only transcode and compress that's all.
