Try VOB Blanker, after ripping the movie to your HD...or you can use AnyDVD (free 21 day trial).

Hmm if VOB Blanker, or AnyDVD isn't working for you ate all my guess is a bad press...try to get another original copy, then see what happens, if that doesn't work it could possibly be your comp...Whenever I get these sort of issues with a back-up VOB Blanker ALWAYS does the trick tyhe only time it didn't was with a bad original copy...

Shirleen, I understand your frustration. I had the same problem with the same DVD almost 4 months ago and posted here and basically got the same responces your getting. "Bad Press" "Bad DVD" "Comp to slow" "Update AnyDVD" "Bad DVD ROM" "Bad Burner" etc... i could go on. I also just looked up the thread and for some reason i cant find it anymore. Anyway the DVD navagation structure problem still hasnt gone away using DVD Shrink and AnyDVD. and anytime I used Shrink it would pop up with the same error. I could however open the disk up with the free version of DVDFab Decrypter. then i used Nero to put it on a disk. Didnt have to shrink it. I ripped the DVD with FAB into a folder, Then just copied the contents of the folder straight onto a DVD. It worked. If you try to use Shrink after using fab it will still give you the navagation error. If you got any other questions about this DVD feel free to P.M. me. I know you said no programs will open it but try FAB.

This being an older disc, all you need is DvdDecryptor or DvdFab. You can actually just make an ISO with DvdDecryptor than burn it with Decryptor. Shrink, AnyDVD, etc. are not needed.
