dvd shrink always went right into burning when it was done now all of a sudden it doesn't what could be the problem. using nero 7

Do you get any error? I know the latest version of Nero 6 was having problems burning with DVD Shrink. have you recently upgraded your Nero?

Maybe DVD Shrink is not set up anymore to automatically start burn with Nero, maybe you are saving the files to HDD. Check your Shrink burn settings.

The new ver 7 of Nero and the updated ver. of Nero 6 which is 6.6.1.4 will no longer autoburn with Shrink. If you want to autoburn again you will have to go back to 6.6.0.18 or do it manually.

Like buddy "arniebear" said, don't use all CAPS, it is against the rule here at AD and it is consider shouting.

I, for one, never set DVD Shrink to "auto" burn with Nero whenever I used DVD Shrink to transcode or compress any of my movies. I've always set DVD Shrink to transcode and save my VIDEO_TS file into my hard drive. Once DVD Shrink is done, I'll burn with Nero Burning Rom afterward. I've come to conclusion that with the settings via DVD Shrink to "auto" burn with Nero is likely to encounter more issues than manually burn with Nero Burning Rom or Nero Express once DVD Shrink is done.

However, the choice is yours.

I agree with my buddy alkohol on autoburning with Nero, you are much more likely to receive errors and terminated burns, better to output to HDD and then burn manually. Which will have to be done anyway for those who plan on using the newer versions.
