I am trying to turn all my CD's into mp3 formate just to load a bunch of albums into 1 CD. The problem I'm having is getting the protected albums to burn on the blank CD's. I just won't do it. What can I do?

You are having problems ripping CDs? What software are you using to actually take the tracks off the CD and put them on your hard drive?

@Jigen
It is windows media player because it is a wma track.I think that the only way is getting a license.I think you can only burn them if the copyprotection is removed when you rip them to the hard disc.

I have been backing up all my CD on Windows Media Player for years. I only keep burned copies in my car, just in case it ever gets stolen I don't lose hundreds of dollars. So they are wma files that I want to make MP3 albums. How can I get around the license?

maybe try using a different program to rip the cds to your hard drive then burn them using Nero. i usually dont use media player to rip cds , i just dont especially like it, just my opinion though. i usually use dbpoweramp, to rip and convert them, then use Nero to burn them. ive never had a problem doing it that way.

but maybe im an idiot and im not understanding your problem right.

sig made by me, i think.

you can use a program called ImTooRM converter it has no problem with converting them from wma to mp3 or several other for mats it says that it is just for realtime but it is designed for many other formats also if you want you can download AnyDVD and it will remove the copyright from the dvd so that will be elimanated all together just some ideas

anydvd=http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html

ImTooRm Convert=http://www.imtoo.com/rm-converter.html

The program I now use is called CD-Tag. Media player is the last thing that I would consider using. My advice is to use a proper ripper and just don't deal with wma at all.
