I am using Nero 5 and have had success loading and using several different .NRG files however one program will not recognize the .NRG file when I have it loaded. The program keeps asking me to insert the c.d.
Any help would be appreciated.

No, it is a greeting card making program. I have been successful with Print Shop 6 as well as the game, You Don't Know Jack. I have a large hard drive and it's easier not to have to load, unload c.d.'s if possible.

Ok, well same problem the program is able to see that you are using a copy instead of the original. Try Daemon's Tools. Far better at what you are doing than Nero.

Jigen,
I downloaded and installed Daemon's Tools with the same results. The other NRG's run perfectly but it will not load the other program. When I click on the file to have it mounted the Splash screen appears (to install the program) so I'm sure the image is fine. Any other ideas?

I am also confident that your NRG is ok. Daemon's has built in copy protection emulation, did you enable any? You might look online as well to see if there is a no-cd patch for this greeting card program, or suggestions about how to make it work with a disc image.

Jigen, No I didn't make any changes with Daemon, just used the defaults from the install. I went back and did check and uncheck all options and still couldn't make it work.
But for now, I'll just continue to load and unload the c.d. I'll also continue to watch the message boards in the future and perhaps I'll be able to get it right. In the meantime, I do like the Daemon program. Thanks for the information and your time.
