I've got a slim PS2 with a flip top as well as Swap Magic and Breaker Pro. I have no problems with Swap Magic and PS2 DVD using Yuden media. However, anytime I try to boot a PS1 game with breaker pro the movies go insanely slow and stutter and skip. The games load fine and it appears to work but as soon as a movie or cut scene comes on, its in super slow-mo mode. Could anyone please explain how to burn PS1 bins using Nero or Alcohol? I'm using Sony CD-R's until my package from supermedia arrives with my Yuden CD-Rs. The Sony's are made in India so I know they are junk, could that be the cause of the slow-mo mode? Or am I burning the bins incorrectly? Thanks for any help you can provide.
I just tried again with my Taiyo's. Burned the image with Alcohol, selected Playsation (not PS2) from drop down list and set write speed to 8x (that's the slowest it will do). Same thing, game loads fine, no problems but then a movie starts and it turns into a slide show going in super slow-mode. Any chance you could post a step by step to burning with a bin/cue and a ccd format? Thanks a ton!
Nope, the original is working fine. Should I be selecting RAW/DAO or DAO/SAO? When I select the playstation mode it defaults to RAW/DAO, wondering if I should try DAO, would that help you think?
If you can get an original try ripping it with alcohol it may be a sub channel data issue with the image you are using I remember somewhere in the back of my mind some ps1 movies needed patching but I'm not sure if that was for emulators or what now, do a google on patches for your game
