After i put it together, the dvd tray wont eject. When i open it up, it opens and ejects. Whats the problem? I have the old PS2.

Just wanted to add that looking from the outside of the ps2 the dvd tray looks slanted.

Try to take it back apart, and put it back together with the groves of the disc try in place.See if that works any better.
