Okay I got Nero 6.0 Ultra with my Sony DVD Burner and I can't find my S/N so I can update. B/C my regedit to find my S/N wont up, Does anyone know what to do with this problem?

I'm trying to install a new version of Nero but it fails. What should I do?

Make sure you have your Nero serial number to install Nero/Nero Express with. It should look like 1C80-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxx.
The serial key should be located at the inside of the Nero jewel case the Nero CD came in.

Updates to the latest versions of 7 are free of charge.
The Nero 6 serial number does not work for Nero 7 Premium.
To upgrade to Nero 7 Premium from a previous version, please purchase a Nero 7 Premium serial number in our online shop.

I don't know if Nero will help you out with OEM software, but you could try to give them a call if you have already registered this version to yourself. They might have a solution to your problem.
edit: disregard my post, previous post has done a great job of making my suggestion look dumb...haha

Jizmark, that is nice! Never read that before... Must remember that next time this happens to me... The problem is i clean my registry quite often...
Good job i DO have my original case still... Somewhere...

If you have the sw currently installed on your comp just look in your Nero log, it lists the SN there.
