I recently got some old home movies from my parents. I took these super 8 movies and followed a guide on the net to caputure them on my DV camera and am pretty pleased with the outcome. Now I would like to clean the movies up a little.

First, even though I tried to not have any black fringes around my captured MPGs on some areas I have the appearance of some black bars on the left. Now I was wondering if there is any way to cut the outer edges (maybe resize the image somehow)?

Second is there any program that can clear up the images a little? Some parts of my capture appears blury.

Thired I played with TSUNAMI MPEG DVD Author Pro. when I tried to load my DV MPG to the program I got a message that this MPG is in variable bit format and can be loaded, the MPG loads just fine into Nero 7. Any way I can get this to work with TSUNAMI?

Thank you for the help,

Dirk
