It's a standard microsoft error. Asking if I'd like to send the error message to Microsoft. Then DVD Shrink closes.

I've heard of Shrink closing for

a) not enough power/inadequate PSU
b)dusty in there/overheating
c)not enough memory/multitasking.

Just so I'm sure, is your f/w uptodate. I don't think that's the problem though.

ifeel ,
Welcome to the forum. You could try cut and paste the Windows message here. We want the technical message part not the generic part. While we wait for that you should D/L a free registry cleaner and clean the registry as that will cause that error in Windows. Uninstall Shrink > reboot and run the registry cleaner again. If no problems are found then re-boot > and re-install Shrink and then try it again.

Take the side off the computer and clean it out of Dust Gremlins as that will also cause that message

GlueEater: You are to fast for me but I concur w/ your analysis

f/w=firmware. If you give me your burners model number I can find the firmware for you. Or if you post your current firmware.

I heard CCleaner was pretty good.

Thanks for the help GlueEater. The Firmware worked. I tried to download it earlier from the manufacturers site with no luck. Again thanks for the help. Now I can sleep =).
