SM doesn't run anything

I just got SM+Slidetool and I can't get it to work, even with original games. The only thing I get is "Not a PS2 disc" (even if it is an original).
Can this problem occur due to incorrect usage of the slidetool?
It feels like I'm doing it right.

Any ideas what's wrong?

EDIT: BTW, it works fine with originals if I just boot them the normal way.

you need to use the slide tool to open and close the tray. Once you put in swap magic and boot it, you can't hit eject.

Make sure you are using the right swap disc.

DVD games use DVDSwap disc, if using CD games(PS2) then use CD Swap disc.

Some people put the wrong disc in so....

Other than that, I don't know. I forgot how to work swap disc. I use to have 2.0 but broke it last year.
