Playing from USB HDD

Hi I am new to this forum & to PS2. Can somebody help me by tell me what would I need and how would I play games from my USB HDD that I already have. I copyied the game to USB HDD using USBeXtreme Windows Mode Client Software. I pluged in my USB HDD to my PS2. My PS2 is not Modded in anyway.

I am also a newb in this section, though im sure you need a certain program (very hard to find using any illegal sharing prgram, eg btorrent)... I think its called HD Advance...

there you can read about it, i think the program formats it so the ps2 can read from it... then simply (i think) using the same program copy the files to the hdd... then plug and play wif ps2... Im not enirely sure though. If you do find out, please PM me...
