whenever i try to connect my psp to the internet using wifi max i get the message "a connectiuon error has occurred (80110482). Does anyone have any idea what i,m doing wrong?the only thing i have noticed is i am using aol broadband to connect to the internet but my shared connection is on the 56k dial up icon. when i try to share the globespan usb adsl modem icon it will not let me, when i right click on the properties there is no option to share?
If anyone can shed any light on this problem i would be very grateful, thanks

I think this is the only thing i have'nt tried.
the dongle is working and recognised by the psp when i scan but when i try test connection i get the error message 80110482

i get the message a connection error has occured 80110482. i have noticed on my wireless internet connection it says speed 54mbs, signal strength-no signal, status connectedand when i right click on status then the support tab there is no information there, no address type, no ip adress, no subnet mask etc. the dongle seems to be working it seems to be the connection between the dongle and the psp but i just cant see how to put this right. I read somewhere about static ip address, would this help and what exactly do i have to.
people were'nt kidding when they said this set up was a nightmare!

try opening your ZDwlan configuration tool at the bottom open it (make sure your in access point) go to more settings then make sure your network mode is on 802.11b authentication mode to open system. on the mac address click settings and disable it. now click on ya wirless network connection (which ever one it is) click the tab at the top then click repair , then try connecting with ya psp , see if that works

no still not connecting nothing on the thread helped either.
My wireless connection status is now 54mbs, strength excellent and status connected but still no info showing on the support tab.

ok i uninstall then reinstalled and started from scratch. I,m basically at the same stage but have noticed when i start a test connection, on the wirelss lan configuration page underneath the connect station list during the test the mac address of my psp appears, then as soon as the "connection error has occurred 80110482" appears on my psp my mac address disapears from the list. Dont know whether this is important, wifi max is starting to make me lose the will to live...
