crc error on memory stick

My problem is that firstly some games do not absoultely load onto my memory stick (Sony 1GB Pro Duo) secondly for some reason If i put NBA live 2006 on the stick it loads perfectly onto the stick but then NFL Street 2 :unleashed wont work. And vice versa. Also my friend had just put Xmen lEGends 2 on his memory stick but when I try i get a crc error. Can anyone tell me what the exact problem is? even though its pretty obvious its my memory stick any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Id try formatting the stick firstly in the psp
go to system settings - format memory stick
If still dont work try via windows, make sure its FAT and not NTFS

Thanks alot man ill try that. One noob question tho where do i go to format my stick through windows? I know how to do it through the psp (thanks for your instructions though) just a little confused about doing it via windows. Ill also keep a look out for doing it through FAT and not NTFS

Connect your psp to pc with usb cable then start USB connection.
Go to My computer and youll see [removable disk] right click and find format, click it
Another box opens up saying FILE sytem and other settings check settings to make sure they are right.
Once done you can either make the folders youself eg PSP inside psp you have GAME, PHOTO, MUSIC, SAVEDATA
or you could probably just format it in the psp and then it would make those folders for you.

Thanks again, should I use FAT32 or FAT (i dont see NTFS so that shouldnt be a problem)

Just FAT, actually i just read that it can read FAT32 too. only one way to find out i guess

thanks alot. I used FAT since its what you were pretty sure of already. Thanks for all your help I hope it works. hmmm its been stuck on the same progress section for a while now maybe im just paranoid I hope its not memories of loading isos to my memory stick
