here's the problem my bro gave me a copy the super bowel 40 steelers dvd it was on a fuji film dvd+r 4.7 disc. it wouldnt play in my dvd player it said no disc. it did play on my pc. so i figured it was a format my dvd player didnt reconize. i thought if i ran the disc through dvd shrink and burn it over i could then play it in my dvd player. but dvd shrink said DVD SHRINK HAS ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR AND CAN NOT CONTINUE
FAILED TO READ "E:/"
DATA ERROR ( CYCLIC REDUNDENCY CHECK )

i guess it wont work that way then. i have nero 6/dvd shrink/dvd fab/vso divix to dvd. what do i need to play this movie ? thanks.

If that is a recerded dvd i think that the reason that you got that error is because the disc might be scratched or dirty... Try cleaning it before riping it.You can record that movie again using dvddecrypter and choosing iso mode>>>>read.Then you just burn the iso.The reason that it didnt play in your dvd player maybe is because it is not booktyped to dvd-rom.Some dvd players dont like to play the + format.Hope this helps.good luck.

And i forgot to point this out.That brand of media is not a good one and probably the burned movie got errors.Some people had great burns on them but only if they are original.Not fakes
