i have a v10 ps2 no mod chip mem card exploit i use hdloader 0.7c. Well my ps2 will boot up with mem card or orginal disk will work for about 5-10 mins. it then locks up i push reset and it is a blank screen or the first ps2 flash screen with pink and green in the boxes and it frezes there.
i turn it off for 5-10 mins and i get 2-3 mins of up time till it locks up again can somone please tell me what this could be

well i found my problem today a overheated/warped/discolored Emotion Engine guess it got hot cuz the what should be gray chip is showing the signs of heat so ty all that dident answer and guess ill be buying a new ps2 or at least a premod if anyone know where to get a good deal on a premod let me know
