Hi
Does anybody know if there is any loader/homebrew/UMDemulator which could work with a firmware 2.5?
Or do you have an idea where I can get a downgrader and how to use it?

Cant downgrade V2.01 or above, click the eloader link in my sig for directions on homebrew, its also stickied on the main menu.

Sorry mate theres not, only on V2.00 and you cant downgrade.
Head for your local games shop and search the preowned stuff you might pick up a copy of GTA on the cheap. Its worth for the homebrew alone. :)

Do I need to download SNES EMU if I just want to play iso files from psp games(King Kong/Socom/Spidermann2/lumines/nhl/nba...)and where do I put all my isos files in order to play them?

Hate to say it but u wasteing ur time with the ISO,s they will not work on ur firmware only VERSION 1.50 and u CANNOT downgrade.

Well I recently found out the MSLoader worked with Brown Ale, other then that you sould either wait for a new release on the downgrader or get a 1.5.

Well...did you try it? Does it really work even for isos files?
And do you know how to do it?

Currently there is NO way to play iso's on anything higher than 2.0 firmware. You can play SOME homebrew but you need GTA.

Its nonsence not true at all the latest release: version 0.96, codenamed "Bičre d'Alsace does not contain information about the ms loader.
Full support for infra-red (for GTA-mode only).
Lots of extra configuration parameters, including GTA-only and TIFF-only options.
USB support in the menu (TIFF-mode only).
Use O as well as X to select in the menu.
Use Square to get EBOOT IDs from the menu.
Most corrupted menu icons now fixed.
GTA autoload option in installer.

i know there is no info on it, but i tried it out myself and it worked, I got the kernal warning, pressed X and it came up, only tried 2.5e and 2.5f and I haven't wasted my time trying to load any ISOs yet, you can go ahead and try it out.

yhea me too but do i need brown ale cuz i got EBout loader .96 and if i downgrade to brown ale ill hav to say goodbye to my gba games so is there a way on .96 if there is can u make a guide or link me to a guide

I doubt it,
Fanjita says there have been three "types" of exploits found:
user-mode only
VSH (user-mode with some kernel access to flash0)
kernel-mode
The 2.0 TIF exploit uses VSH whereas the GTA savegame "hack" is strictly user-mode only, no access to flash at all.
That means no downgrading from 2.01 or higher and no ISO loaders via the GTA savegame "hack".
If sumone says the have got it working, it cant be through the GTA hack.

The difference between 0.95 and 0.96 is more stablity .96 is just more of an upgrade ur gba games will still run.

It's been a while and I'm wondering if anybody heard about either a good downgrader for a 2.5 firmware to 1.5 or something wich would allow to play isos on a 2.5 firmware.
I know some of you are very aware of the latest news concerning that matter, so please answer.

nope... just stick it out till the mod chip comes out now.... i know what ur next question is gonna b... and well theres 5 forums or so discussin this already so check there also theres updates on it on psp sites fairly regularly... shoudn b tooo long now.
