Hey guys. New here. I need help with DVD Decrypter.

Whenever I try to burn an ISO image, this appears:


I/O Error!
Device: [1:0:0] SONY DVD RW DRU-700A VY02 (D:) (ATA)

SCSISTATUS: 0X02
Interpretation: Check Condition

CDB: 2A 00 00 00 17 20 00 00 20 00
Interpretation: Write (10) ? Sectors: 5920 ? 5951

Sense Area: 70 00 02 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 30 05 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: Cannot Write Medium ? Incompatible Format


Can anybody help me?

Decrypter is telling you it doesn't like the media. Which brand are your using?
Your a bit behind on your drive's firmware - the latest is VY08.

That's the version # that your drive/burner (dru-700a) is up to now. This helps your drive with newer media and the read/write strategies.
Verb is good stuff so a firmware up date should take care of this.
So what you do is:
*download the file
*make sure no other programs are running & no discs are in the drive
*open the .exe file - you'll might have to pick the drive
*then click okay, start, ok something like that - takes like a minute to flash
*your drive will be updated latest firmware after a reboot.
On your drive I would burn these at 4x.

the burning. the same message comes up and the only thing changed is that my thing is updated to vyo8.

Dam - your using what I would recommend besides Taiyo Yuden. Instore TY can be found in the Made in Japan Fuji or Sony. Make sure the burn speed is set to 4x in decrypter.
Here's something else - make sure you are in DMA mode and not PIO mode - but if you already are then I would uninstall the drive and reboot. Here's a link for all this:
