I use DVD Decrypter to rip, then use DVD Shrink. The problem I'm having is this. After riping(with NO read errors)when I go to open the files in DVD Shrink I get the following message: Invalid data in file "D:\dvd_video\video_TS\vts_01_vob" OverlappedI/O in progress.
If I try to just open the disk in DVD shrink it will star analyzing and after about 1 min I get: Failed to read file "E:\" Data error (Cyclic redundancy check)
I have copied lots of movies and have never come across this error.
I'm pretty computer illiterate so if anyone has any answers for me, please keep in mind I'm an idiot.
Thanks for any help.
Are you running AnyDVD? If not that might fix it. However, I used CloneDVD to rip mine. It works just like Shrink in that it produces an ISO file that will fit on a DVD-5 disc. I had AnyDVD running while ripping. After producing the ISO file, I used Nero to burn the image file. Be sure you burn at slow speeds (4x or 8x). I stopped using Shrink awhile back. CloneDVD seems more stable and is still updating, Shrink is not. Try running AnyDVD first, if you already are, go the CloneDVD route. Hope this helps.
I wish I knew why I didn't burn it with CloneDVD. You know, some folks say that I am a little 'tarded. Could have been the deciding factor.....Cuz I hate Nero, the only thing I use it for is NeroVision. Sorry bout that bilbo...it'll never happen again....WE SWEARS!!!
