Anyone know what the HELL is going on with this damn disc? I cant play Pride & Prejudise, i cant RIP it, i cant do anything with it. its a coaster. i bought it from CC TV, and i have tried 5 copies, my dvd player freezes during the middle of da movie.?? widescreen version it is i have.

im going to demand a refund again. this is crapola.

i backed this up with no problems i used AnyDVD & shrink (if i remember correctly) make sure you are using good media to burn on.

use CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD to backup the movie ...use this guide.

next, use good media(Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim) and burn at 4x max.

make sure your firmware is up to date on your drive
burn without other programs running
make sure your machine is clean (disc cleanup and defragging often)

I suspect your problem is related to your blank media and/or burn speed....

As stated by bilbo65 get some better media and slow down your burn speed, there is nothing special about the movie and the fact that it ripped and burned shows that.
