Hey i am using Media player classic, and i have some questions about it..

Sometimes when i play a video it creates a txt file..something called like...dvx_a.txt or somethin like that. Does anybody know how to stop it from doing that? also when you skip through the video it creates a kind of popping sound. Just wondering if there are any ways of fixing this?
