hi,

Go to http://www.slysoft.com to download AnyDVD which will unlock the CSS copy protection on DVDs, and then download CloneDVD which will copy.

These Dls are 20 day trail buy if you like.

If you want free software but less easy to copy. USe DVD decryptor and DVDshrink.

j

You need to use a ripper first, this program will bypass any copy protection on the movie and allow you to make a copy.

DVD Shrink is one of many programs that can acomplish this. I like Shrink because it is free. Once the movie is ripped to a location on your hard drive you can use a burning program like Nero or ImgBurn to burn the ripped movie to a blank DVD.

Afterdawn is an excellent place to start. Read through the guides section as well as some of the forums.

Look over some of the other forums as well.

Here is a link for Shrink:

Here is a link for ImgBurn:

Here are several DVD guides by my bud, ScubaPete:

Good luck,
Frank

Edit: I agree with BurningAs about AnyDVD and CloneDVD. Excellent programs. I have both of them and they are very easy to use and worth the money.

Your very welcome!
Also you should feel free to help out if you like. We always encourage new people to stick around and help if and when they can. Helping others is the best way to get good at this. Helping others will encourage you to explore the programs and techniques you will be using yourself.

Cheers,
Frank
