problem with harry potter and sorcerer's stone

Shrink can't do it alone, tried using dvdfab first (successful after just under 9hrs) then VobBlanker (successful), then Shrink still errors out at 99%. I searched for anyone else that had problems with this harry potter and didn't see any.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i had no problems with this movie using AnyDVD &clone dvd. did not try fab but would think it would do it. like madney said ensure you have the latest versions.

yup, i have 2.9.7.2 or whatever, even double-checked their website to make sure its latest version.

It's been awhile since I did this one but I don't think there is anything special on it. You may have 2 other things going on - if dvdfab decrypter took that long you're either in pio mode and not dma mode or the disc is dirty/scratched/bad press and your drive had a hard time ripping it.
Try cleaning the disc off or use another drive to rip.
Also what error messages did shrink give - using it alone and then with the files processed thru vobblanker?

download the free trial of anydvd & clone dvd2 from slysoft.com.

EDIT: sorry i was thinking of the new harry potter movie, as binkie said this has nothing special on it. check the original as binkie said :-)

Yeah I haven't had a problem with any of the other 3 Harry Potter movies, surprised me that this was the one that was giving me trouble.

and not sure exact wording of other, but was at 99% encoding

I tried cleaning the disc, and checked everything I can think of. Even with the discs that shrink cant do alone, I've always been able to successfully use fab and/or vobblanker and have things run smoothly from there. May just chalk it up as bad luck/bad disc.

Thanks alot for everyones help though.

CRC error is usualyy dirty/scratched disc if it looks clean & unscratched it could be a bad pressed disc - exchange it if you can

im trying to burn it now and this is the first time i have seen it encode twice i encoded 100% then it started all over again never seen that before
