ok i understand your point about media but teh thing i dont understand is i have a pile of dvds a guy burnt and they are the same media as teh ones im trying to use but after burning using dvd-shrink x any dvd x nero 6 still will not work what am i doing wrong plays in puter but try to put it in anything else it does not work after trying to load it says invalid disc
Is good that you understand, but the question is how well:~)!
Unless you use the same media, same DVD player, same burning software and settings, same burner with same firmware, you can not compare your friend's results with yours, expecting to be exactly the same. What kind of media do you use? What player do you have? Some players for example will not be compatibile with DVD+R, unless you booktype to DVD-Rom. i came across some people with players that would not play certain brands of DVD-Rs, but would play DVD+R of the same brand.At what speed do you burn?
