Nero Showtime problems PLEASE READ!

I have Nero 6 and decided to update to the latest version (jan 31 2006) 3.1.0.25 for showtime, recode and nerovision and I wish I didn't!

Nero showtime was working perfectly, but now after the udpate it won't play anything...

If you open showtime and try to select the source DVD from the DVD drive, the screen comes up for a half a second and then closes...nothing

If you go directly into the VIDEO_TS folder and try to selsct a VOB file to play it directly, the showtime screen again opens and then closes, and says "error reading file"

I have the necessary codecs with the K'lite pack and the necessary nero codecs are enabled, I haven't changed anything since I installed the update.

Is it possible to roll back to the earlier version? I wish I didn't do this, somebody knowledgable PLEASE advise!

hi thanks for the reply...no, I'm at 6.6.0.18...I didn't upgrade the Nero rom and Nero express part, just the nerovision, recode and showtime part...does that make a difference?

Restore your pc with system restore back to Jan 30,2006. That should get your old 6.6.0.18 fully back. If this works don't upgrade to next version. It has issues.

Yes! I was so puffed up I didn't even think about that...it worked and I'm back to normal thanks to you guys!
