I have read various posts saying that you cant downgrade above 2.00 and that once your psp is bricked there is no going back.
Which i believe is all true but the questions for all you experts in this sort of thing are:

Will a unbricker ever be invented is it possible?

Will we eventually be able to downgrade from all versions or not need to?

and finally

If you were to name 5 top psp sites apart from AD what would they be?

I ask these questions because i see these questions scattered about and would be easier if people could find their answers all in one post and this is your views not guarenteed truth.

I have heard of people looking into methods of unbricking psp's via hardware mods but to date nothing has ever come up but maybe in the future there will be a better chance.

I honestly belave that someone will come out with something that will either allow 2.01+ user to downgread or to have full access to the psp's kernel, there's a lot of very samrt people working on finding exploits.

Whats your guess on a umd burner in the future especially if sony are supposed to be releasing the code for them.

I highly doubt we'll see a UMD bruner until the psp is almost dead because then Sony wont care about homebrew and will be working on a new project and UMD's might get there own player or something :)

this is very close to impossible, which is why people sell it for parts or try and install a new motherboard themselves.


and like p4 maybe 2.01 may get hacked, but that is very improbable.. which is why people are trying different approaches, like the games themselves and now aiming for the kernel...

What exactly happens to the psp when bricked i thought it was just a software problem surely a software problem can be fixed if not now but as soon as someone figures out how

It means its as good as a brick for playin games.
There,s nothing u can do, its a hardware problem, u could change the guts of it but whats the point for £100 another £70 would get u a brand new one.

it is impossibke to brick a psp from what i been told, and what fanitja is coming up with from what i understand is something that will help prevent bricking not 'unbrick' a psp
