when buying online, it's easy to be sure you're getting tayio's. but when shopping in a store, as sniper_3 seems to be doing, brand isn't as important as those three little stamped words: "made in japan." as long as you see that, you should be pretty good.

Actually It depends on the Dye used for the Datawrites.

I bought a pack of Datawrite Mach4 with Dye TTH02 Which according to the media guide, are 1st class media.

I got them from SVP communications which was recommended on this site.

you were lucky if the mach3 code out at that cos at the moment they have them on sale and code out at cmc mag but what do you expect for £4.99 FOR 50 From svp i would go for the panasonic ty's or the verb that code out ty's

Datawrite blue are great, i use them for dvd movies and games, and they are flawless. Mine are A+++ grade too, and also designed for consoles, so i've not had any problems with them ever, and i'm on my second pack of 50. lol

First DVD's I got myself for doing PS2 Back ups were Datawrite yellow, I was told they were good quality for a cheap price.

Turned out they were shit CMC crap. Now I just use them to put .AVI movies on. Crap for games though.
